This week flew by. We barely got started after our camping trip, but we managed to get a full week in. Daddy is off on Friday’s now for the rest of the year. He might be more of a distraction for us all!
A friend let us borrow some stuff for Samuel to do. It has been a great change for him. We all need to do more switcheroos like this! If anyone has ideas on this, please let me know!
Samuel did great tracing letters on Kumon cards.
He loved these stacking pegs. I am going to have to get some of these for him!
An idea Vicki had was freezing little dinosaurs in ice and letting him melt them using an ice dropper. He loved getting them out!!
And dinosaurs in some fun black sand…done on the back porch!
Another friend had given us some alphabet ice cube trays. I made those for our juice one lunch day. My boys thought that was super fun!
We studied Joseph this week. Here’s Samuel in his coat of many colors (old robe of Daddy’s that they hadn’t seen come out in a long time!).
We used our Do-A-Dots to make those many colors on a coffee filter. Then we sprayed them with mist and watched the colors bleed together.
Here is Samuel doing some more Power Magnet sheets. Pumpkins!
Here’s my boy at our Halloween co-op party. I have three sweet Iron Men!
He’s always right in the middle of our everyday learning…Brazil, Rain Forests, Magnets and whatever else comes up! I will be posting more on those units real soon!
