Dayspring Cards Review and Giveaway!

20 Friday Jan 2012

Do you remember going to the card store as a teenager with your girlfriend?  I do.  I remember going through the cards that would make you cry, and then the ones that could cause you to make a scene when you busted out in laughter.  Cards say something.  They can express you and a relationship you have like nothing else sometimes!

There is nothing like receiving a card in the mail, especially during these times where much of our communication is on the computer or the phone.  It is so personal.  You know that someone took the time to pick that one out just for you.  There’s nothing like sending one, either.  It’s like Dayspring puts it:

Your heart.  God’s love.

I love Dayspring cards, and I love the cards I am honored to review.  I received the Simply Marvelous collection.

Messages of encouragement, friendship, and birthday greetings

I’m so glad I chose this one.  I so enjoyed sending some of these out already.  I picked each one up and immediately knew who it belonged to.  I love that.

This one was the first to be sent out…

This card is so girly.  I had the perfect recipient for her, too!

Another was this…

This one is a birthday card that reads:

(Cover) God knew one day the two of them would meet and their friendship would be good, beautiful, and true.
(Inside) And it is.  Celebrating your birthday and thanking Him for you.

Simply Marvelous, indeed.  You have to get your hands on some of these and bless someone today!

And finally what I’ve needed all my life.  The ultimate card organizer!  How lovely is this?!

It looks nice sitting out and serves as a good reminder.  “I will bless you…and you will be a blessing.”  That is what it’s all about!

Bless someone today!  And let me help you out!  Do you want to win $20 towards some Dayspring cards, or an organizer, or anything from their website?  Leave me a comment and tell me about the last card you received in the mail.  I will randomly pick the winner on January 26th.

Easy LunchBoxes Review and Giveaway – A Fun Bento Style Lunch Box for Kids!-CLOSED

Organize and quickly pack healthy lunches without wasting time, money, paper, or plastic!

I was so excited to hear that I was selected to review Easy LunchBoxes! They came in the mail on Monday.

The first thing I noticed was how good the quality was.  The plastic is nice and sturdy.  And just lovely!  I’ll have to admit that I have tried the Ziploc version of these things.  They are supposed to be disposable, and it’s evident after a cleaning in the dishwasher. But these are nice.  I can see them lasting for as long as I want them to!

I love making lunch for my boys fun and exciting.  And I love little containers like the Bento style.  We are at home most of the time, and let’s just say lunch can sometimes get boring!  They love Lunchables, but this momma can’t afford those!  So this is a great way to make lunches at home.  They are definitely more healthy, and you can use Easy Lunchboxes over and over again.  Another great aspect to using these is the accountability they provide!  While fixing these cute little lunches, I feel like I need to fill each little spot.   I am adding more nutrition from more food groups to their daily lunches!  These would be great for children who attend school, as well.

Lunch on the go is even better now with Easy Lunchboxes!  We do a lot of picnics in the warmer months, and indoor play with friends during the winter.  I can pack three lunch boxes in the cooler bag.  I have the olive color.  Love it!  I even personalized ours by printing a tag and laminating it.  It hangs nicely on the grommet of the handle.

My 7 year old says, “These are cool, Mommy!”  My 5 year old says, “We can take these everywhere!”.  From the mouth of babes comes a summary of Easy LunchBoxes…A cool way to pack lunches and use them anywhere!  Here they are with big smiles for Easy LunchBoxes!

Here is what our lunch box looked like that day…

Kelly Lester, founder of Easy LunchBoxes, is one sweet lady.  Communication with her customers is very important to her.  It shows!  I have had a great time “talking” to her over email.  I know God has blessed her business and I pray that He continues to do so!

And now for the best part!  I am giving away a set of Easy LunchBoxes and a cooler bag to one winner!  What a great thing to wrap up and put under the tree for your kiddos!  To enter, please do the following:

Visit the Easy LunchBoxes website and tell me what color lunch bag you would choose.

Also, for an extra entry, tell me what your lunch would look like in an Easy Lunchbox!

The winner will be picked by random.org.  This giveaway is open until December 14th, 2010.  Please make sure I can get a hold of you!

This giveaway is offered to US & Canadian residents only. Please do not enter this giveaway if you have won or received free product from EasyLunchboxes within the past 3 months.

I am joining in on Homeschool Creation’s Curriculum Clean Out! I love her blog and appreciate all the help and support her and all the other homeschool moms have given us!

I am giving away a First Grade Music Curriculum by Pfeiffer House Music .  This curriculum is for ages five to seven.  An audio CD is included.  Copyright 2002-2005

Your student will learn musical skills that will be valuable later for singing skills, learning to play instruments, and worship.  You and your student will begin to discover the gifts that God has given him or her.  This music curriculum helps to teach many grade level concepts, with the advantage of involving both sides of the brain in learning.  Music has a unique ability to enhance learning.

To enter, just leave me a comment!  I will pick the winner on Saturday, April 24th.  Please make sure I have a way of contacting you!
